Homemade chili con carne can be healthy depending on the ingredients and cooking methods used. Lean ground beef, turkey, or chicken can be used to reduce the fat content, and adding plenty of vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, and beans can increase the nutritional value. Overall, homemade chili con carne can be a nutritious and balanced meal when prepared with fresh, wholesome ingredients and portioned appropriately. **
